I qualified as an English and French teacher in 2002. I taught in different countries and in different settings and then, as many did, I tried online teaching after the Covid-19 pandemic. I started as a C1 English tutor with the Preply platform in May 2023 and 1 159 lessons later, I haven't looked back.

I enjoy every lesson with Stella! It's a ray of sunshine! On every lesson we have new topics to explore and discover, it's like an encyclopedia in english followed by rules of grammar. She is very patient , good listener, adaptable to students needs, able to clearly explain words and complex topics , very kind, her interspersonal skill are excellent!

Stella is very kind and friendly woman, patient and great teacher. She is always interested in your needs and your targets and she adjusts English lessons according to it. The lessons are different all the times and I enjoy them so much. She keeps sending homeworks if you ask for and checks them for you. I can recommend Stella highly to any serious students of English. Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing.
These are skills we take for granted. If we have these skills already, we are sitting on a gold mine. We have all the tools we need to engage with the world around us.
And yet, many people do not have these skills. So many would love to be able to sit down and write effortlessly in English (or any language for that matter).
Equally, many do not have access to the books we walk past every time we pass a book shop. Some people would love to speak beautiful, fluent English in order to enhance their careers.
One student from Italy told me: 'If you can't speak good Englilsh in the business world today, you have no power.'
This is why brave people all over the world are trying to pass the B2 level and then go on to pass the C1 level CAE exam. It opens doors. It empowers. And unlike the IELTS examination, you don't have to redo it every two years.
